I Goofed Just Like Granny

If any of you have downloaded my new book, Granny Bricks A Bandit, you know there are errors. I have to apologize. I don’t know what happened or if the wrong file got uploaded, but I have fixed this and am waiting for the KDP people and the other venue where they are published, to advise me if they have updated the books for those of you that have already purchased it.

She is sorry. Will you forgive her? It might take me a short time but I am holding out for treats.

I am so sorry this happened. Please know that I and Granny must be just alike. Having said that, I hope you were able to overlook those many errors and enjoy the book.

As writers we send our books to beta readers and they catch the mistakes, but the goofs still ended up in the final copy that got uploaded. As writers we read and reread and use software to stop our mistakes, but after many readings our eyes get fuzzy, our brains trick us into seeing things that may not be there. It could be that we know our book so well our mind just doesn’t acknowledge we could make a mistake.

I give you permission, although you don’t need it, to make mistakes, forgive yourself and hope others do too but that part is out of your control. I will make more mistakes, some will be doozies, Others will be tiny. Many you will know about and many I will keep secret. Choose what you will do with yours. Until next time…goof off.
